New cartoon to be Emirati role model

A new Emirati cartoon which emphasises the importance of the Arabic language and culture is set to be launched on TV next month.

Mansour will begin broadcasting on two UAE television networks beginning in January. Mubadala Development Company is funding the initial phase of Mansour, and has signed collaboration agreements with Abu Dhabi Media and Dubai Media Incorporated, awarding both organizations the rights to broadcast the first season of Mansour.
