The Middle East's first Comic Con took place over the weekend, with a number of stars attending the packed two day event at the Dubai International Marine Club.
Amongst the celebrities attending the event were Jonathon Rhys Davis who played Gimli in the Lord of the Rings film trilogy, Laurie Holden (The Walking Dead) and Luciana Carro (Battlestar Galatica).
Speaking on the first day of the event, Ben Caddy, managing director of Extracake PRA, the company behind the Middle East Film and Comic Con said that the response to the event had been 'amazing'.
"I genuinely have no idea how many people we have attending the event," he said.
"If I had to give you a number, I'd say there's loads," he added jokingly. "I'm really impressed with the response to the event. It's making me feel really positive about next year's edition."
