Dubai-based ti22 Films has learned that it has received a bronze medal for cinematography and a silver for direction at the annual New York Film and TV Festival Awards. The two medals are both for its recent film featuring exercises to help patients recovering from breast surgery, while a second film, a promo for Dubai's ENOC, has also been rewarded as a non-award winning finalist.
ti22 MD Reim El Houni commented to Digital Studio on hearing the news: "We're obviously really pleased to have been recognised at these prestigious awards, not for the first time! The actual ceremony takes place in April during nAB, so I'm just trying to arrange my schedule so I can get over there on the night."
