Al Jazeera Sport recently deployed the Eyeheight MW-3EM A/B mixer as part of a larger installation that included a server-based ingest, post-production and transmission solution at its facility in Doha.
The mixer, which has a preview output, enables the end user to perform mix, wipe and cut transitions as well as U and V fades. A DK-3M linear downstream keyer handles background, key and fill inputs and supports normal keying, additive (pre-multiplied) keying, self-key and self-coloured keying. An AP-10 manual intervention panel enables engineering staff to choose the level of intervention they require for specific channels.
The solution includes DVS and Avid servers that support both HD and SD formats.
Dubai-based systems integrator Qvest Media undertook the project.
