Capping an impressive turn at this year’s CABSAT, systems integrator Megahertz (MHz) has announced a new partnership with Doha-based Greenland International Enterprises (GIC).
“We have worked with Megahertz for a number of years and wanted to cement the relationship to strengthen our overall offering in the Middle East,” said Sheikh Faisal Al-Thani, CEO of GIC.
“We provide a complementary offering. MHz brings the ability to deliver turnkey solutions to the broadcast sector, while we offer local knowledge, infrastructure, Arabic-speaking staff who are well versed in broadcast and IT technology, and who also have an understanding of how to do business in the region.”
MHz MD Greg Hoskin said the deal would enable the company to gain “a permanent foothold in the Middle East”.
“Together with the recent appointment of Tim Rawlings as our regional sales manager, the deal with provide us with the local resources we require to better meet the needs of our customers in the region as they transition their broadcast infrastructure to high definition.”
